Seugtai, any chance I could see a pic of how the Ripper looks in your hand? :)

Just for you  ;)

You can actually see the difference in the barrel color and the main body here in this pic and as you can see, it's a pretty good sized blaster.

My yellow jumper, LOVE IT, hehe, and the nails, gotta match the bright red in my hair at the moment.  ;D

Thanks, Seugtai ;) That helps me get a better idea of the scale of the thing :)

Glad it helped, I'll eventually get around to taking one with the helmet on.  ;)

And thanks to all of you that put your input in on the backpack, as Kel would say, cheers.  ;)

I hate to think how big the holster is going to be for that thing. But looking at that last pic, you don't need the Mando'a, just the wrap on the handle.

Where I have the red arrows, I think this might be part of his shoulder and neck armor but, I'm not really sure.

I think that the area immediately where the middle arrow is pointing down at is actually a form of neck armor similar to...dang, I can't find his pics. But if you look at the 5 mercs at the upper right hand of the website(I know they change randomly, so just keep going til you find the one I'm talking about, a couple clicks), the fourth Merc has silver armor and a gold visor. If you've seen his armor, with the raised neck guard, I'm pretty sure that's what the middle arrow is pointing out.

I can't believe I missed this so far!  :o

This is excellent work so far!

Helmet is awesome, axe is killer, and the pistol looks great!

Keep on rocking!

I actually have an idea for more of a built in strapping system on the hip of my flightsuit to holster the blaster. Where I can just grab the handle and flick the snap off with my thumb to free the blaster, because yeah an actual holster for this thing would be ridiculously huge.

The new pic makes it look even better...again, great job!

Thanks Ajax, I actually screwed up the barrel section by going a bit overboard while spraying the flat black and had to do some fix up work. Which made the two sections no longer fluidly match in appearance, so I'm glad you think it looks better in this pic where you can see that difference.

When I have it almost completely constructed I will throw up some pics of what everyone thinks of it with and without that top middle section.

By the way, that's Thaxos your talking about.

Haha, thanks Squirrel. Welcome to the party.  ;D

I love it with the top section as you have drawn it. I think it really makes the pack. I think it will look incomplete without it, but it is your build so rock on sister!

Sorry, my two creds worth... :-)

Interesting pack design there. Almost looks like a beetle's wing armor.

Okay looking for some feedback. I showed my axe to my husband and asked him if the handle part looked like wood, and I got an "Ehh" as a response but, no help beyond that. I'm going for an aged greyed wood/driftwood look for the handle part.

Here's some pics...

I'm gonna hold off painting any more graining till I get some opinions, this side is pretty much done, but the other side has no graining yet. Thanks for the help.

If you're going for aged driftwood...I think it looks pretty spot on.

Nice ripper too...that thing sure beats the barrel gauge of any of my blasters! :D
