Looks good for your first time out.  Plan on making them a little more "dirty"?

A bit of weathering on your soft parts-- especially your shoulder cape-- would do wonders.  Otherwise, you look good, and I really like the blue on blue on blue scheme!

Looks pretty good. definatly dirty up the softs some or more. Also, the top of the cod plate should be covered by the bottom of the ammo belt or, add a sash, wrap or girthbelt under the ammo belt and over the cod plate to hide that insertion point.

Really looks good. Your colors work well, great choice. May I suggest an ammo belt.

Funny story about the color scheme:

An online friend of mine who does costuming (went as one of Vader's Shadow Guard at CV this year) suggested that, since I go by the nickname 'Pepsiman' elsewhere, I should make a set of Mando armor, and make it 'PepsiMando' armor.

So I did.

I was going to add red to the scheme (on the helmet and knee pads) but decided against it, and simply went with blue/black.  Once I finished the helmet, I noticed that I took the color scheme from my Honda CR-V.  Go figure. :P

Sadly I trashed the vest by putting it in the wash yesterday, instead of hand washing it, but I plan to make a replacement soon, with improvements (like a zipper instead of velcro on back).

Thanks for the suggestions as well, and thanks to the folks who I bought parts from over the past month.

Sorry to hear about your vest but hey as you said, it is giving you a reason to improve now lol. Great color scheme. Very appealing to the eyes.

Reminds me of the Mando that pulled me over for speeding on my way to the outer rim. No, seriously it looks cool. The color scheme has a purpose to it, and the blue looks authoritative. Your name is cool too.

While not strictly necessary, I'd suggest touching up the edges of the armor plates. From the rough 'inside' of the silver, it's obvious that it isn't just supposed to be trim and while some of the paint would wear away from the plates rubbing together, they wouldn't be so uniformly worn. Anything that chipped or scraped the paint away like that would have extended far past just the very edges.

Otherwise (disregarding the floating cod, 'cos that's been touched on) you did an excellent job here. It's a very well done kit.

Ben: What do we do now? Lob a baradium missile at it?
Luke: Do we have a baradium missile?
Ben: Sorry, Uncle Han said it was always a good idea to have one--
Luke: Your uncle isn't a jedi. I wish you'd remember that.
