Sparkles got kids
« on: Oct 28, 2010, 12:00 PM »
Ok so my youngest boys really wanted to be mandos for Halloween so I had to finish theirs before I could start on mine so here are pictures of theirs mostly done. Mind you the helmet we have not even taken apart and started on so that will be our next project to get them complete. There are still things I need to do to tweek the costume but this is what they will be wearing for halloween.

Oh my gosh, that's adorable!

What did you use for buckets, anyway? The T-visors look nice and wide!

I really like the first one on top. Especially how his armor came out shiny. That's what I was shooting for when I paint my armor. Overall very well done. Looks sharp.

Yeah we have done some tweaking to these mados to make them a little better. The helmets are just the boba toy helmets and we have started working on a non painted one to make the t visor smaller and more accurate, we didn't want them with limited vision on halloween night though. The red armor came out too small but it turned out well for a first run.

:D! I love your younger(?) sons red armor! And it goes with his hair! Nice touch with the black stripe, most people would just stop at the bottom of the chest plates.

I Echo this, that kid has the "serious business" face on, suits the armour right to the ground :)
