good start vod, but you need to just staighten the spacing on your chestplates. lower the shoulder pads, they're sticking up way too high. and what have you used for your knee pads?, they look like unmodded sport pads.

Overall it looks good. Remo hit it on the head. Although allowed by the CRL's the cape and lincloth make your kit very fabric heavy. I would recommend upgrading those to a proper cod and backplate asap. Also, the straps on the backs of the knee's aree allowed however, per the CRL's they must be dyed or painted to match the flightsuit as best as possible.

The knees are cut out hard hats actually, I can change the straps asap and the back plate is in the works.

But for the rest just align the pieces better and take pictures then?

I dig the knee's. didnt have a sports armor look to me. Main thing is the strapping and a little realignment on the chest and shoulder armor and you should be good.

Aesthetically speaking, the thighs, shins and gauntlets kind of call for a little more color to me, even if just a little black trim or something. I mean, I can see that they're there, but they still seem to get lost a bit being all white on the white of the flight suit.

I think a good black, grey, or brown wash (or a mix n match of any of the three) would help pull it from the softgoods without altering paint. The flightsuit could, alternately or jointly, be dinged up a bit to help off set as well.

Yeah, I'm planning on weathering the flight suit more soon. Was going to go shoot my cape up a bit out in the desert while wearing the flight suit

One other suggestion- in the side shot, I can see the skin of your neck. May I suggest a balaclava?

First off, I apologize profusely for not realizing this was posted and for not letting you know my thoughts.

As I told you at Banzai, I really think your kit is looking great !
I really am diggin the things you’ve added.
I agree with the need to dirty up either the flight suit, or the thigh/shin plates to break that all white up just a little bit.

But I really like how all of your hard parts and soft parts are fitted well!
This kit does look “very fabric heavy”. But I know that is the look you were going for. And I think you’ve pulled it off well!

1. add a girthbelt, waist wrap, sash or bolo belt and/or raise up the ammo pouch belt
2. hide the visible elastic straps on the thigh and shin plates (knee's are fine) inside the flightsuit or, replace with an in universe material.

One thing I would add as a personal note, not a CRL requirement, enclose the gaunts. It will look much better more complete than the bracer look.

As for #1, will do, we'll get him on it

#2 , the straps are nylon webbing, i've seen it my self. and they were white to match the flight suit, but are getting dirty, so they don't quite hide as well.

As long as theyre nylon theyre good. Unless there's a close up or a visible clasp, it's hard to tell nylon from elastic in about 90% of pix.
