So I've been saying I'm working on my armor and I thought I'd post some pics for a WIP/Work Log
I apologize I cant find my digital camera at the moment so I had to make due with some Phone Pics ><

^ What I got done so far!

^ Partially shaped armor, (half of it is still shaped for Slade) need to reshape it this weekend (Vor'e Slade!)

^The rest of the flat bits, everything is sanded but the collar and the shins

We pretty much have to reshape the torso plates entirely. I'd half shaped them at one point and just kind of left them lying around. He cut out and sanded all of the other plates more or less on his own. And yes, he plans to go with no knees. No, chances are you cannot convince him otherwise. We're also going to add some boot armor; he has an adequate pair of shoes, boot-like, with no laces.

the chest plates are pretty warped Slade, might wanna keep the curves simple to start off, nothing too complex.

Those chest plates are, in fact, horribly warped .  Part of it was poor shaping on my part in the first place, and the rest comes from them having been stored in a relatively warm area for the better part of four or six months.

They've since been scrapped entirely; new sintra has been ordered to redo them using proper templates. Another part of the warping is due them being traced off of plates that were traced off of other plates, going back about six incarnations to a set of Cyanide plates purchased almost four years ago, so chances are the size is way off anyway. We've since printed out templates actually sized to Andale, so as soon as the new sintra arrives, we'll be ready to roll.

I also cut a set of 16ga aluminum plates out for him if he wants to get off his lazy shebs and hammer them out .

My shebs are most certainly not lazy!
I just have no hammers... Okay maybe I'm a little lazy when sintra would take far less time.
Other than that I still have to decide on a backplate design and cut it out >_<

Incidentally, the sintra came in yesterday and is now over there and ready to be done. Your preliminary backplate template is nifty too . You should post it up, or at least get it cut out of the sintra...

Hey! I'm still alive and working on my armor I swear   
I got my armor cut out, shaped and painted for the most part.




As you can see I have a Jango 2piece I still have to work on.  Also I need to some weather on the plates.  The design is an airbrushed lightning look. It was supposed to be a lava effect but my cousin (who did all the airbrushing work ) didn't have the proper orange ... basically it didn't work 
I also got most of the soft parts done. Its a black flight suit and vest with a white girth belt and cape.  Should be able to finish when i get the proper funds

Just a fun fact, part of the lightning was done by fingernail airbrush. I didn't even know there were airbrushes for fingernails .

Love the lightening effect, not too sure about the creepy crotch skull though...

It just seems wierd. Something I'd expect to see more in the Batman and Robin movie than Star Wars

Heh thanks.  It's pretty creepy but he just so happened to have the stencil laying around and I thought what the heck

Worst case, he can lose the creepy crotch skull, but after the weathering, and with the full kit assembled, it probably won't be so glaringly obvious.
