Its alright, constructive critisism is a good thing for people just starting.

Here is the pictures of the flight suit (i know it belongs in the soft parts forum, but i dont want to take up more space there. It'll stop being soft parts on tuesday when i get the plates.)

And here are my gloves, still have to remove the logo.

Are the Nike labels embroidered? If so, they shouldn't be hard to remove. That's my only recommendation at this point.

I'll admit to being a little on the fence about the nike track suit, but with the labels covered, your vest and armor and other kit components on, it should be passable. It certainly all seems to be coming together.

The armor look sgreat, I thought that was Ijaat's! you need to scrap that track suit though and get a more traditional looking flightsuit whether it's coveralls, an actual milspec flightsuit or BDU's. That track suit simply will not cut it and if you'd like, I'll point out the CRL area's that it will flag if you don't want to take my word for it.

Ah, A'den's pretty well the authority on what will and won't fly. It's much easier for our femme mando vode to find track suits that'll pass muster than it is for us. If you don't/can't get a proper flight suit or BDUs, there are other options to go with. It's just a matter of finding clothing that matches the flight suit 'look'.

One thing you might want to check out are Dickies brand work clothes. If you want to stick with a two-piece, you can usually find Dickies work clothes that'll do the job. They're often made of the same materials as the Dickies coveralls, and come in a decent array of colors.

I'd avoid skin tight unless you meet one of the following 3 criteria...

1. Heavy fully closed armor like a TK or Clone
2. You're built like a Professional Wrestler
3. You're female

If you don't meet at least one of those 3, it's honestly going to look really funky.

Nico, I'm not sure it would fit you, but i do have a spare flightsuit if you can't find anything else that works. It's a set of baby blue hospital scrubs I dyed to a dark slate grey/black. Just not sure, since it's roomy on me, if it'd work for you in the shoulders and waist/chest. Welcome to try it though!

And Ijaat bought them from me. Also, I still have that dickies sized regular large medium/dark grey coveralls.  They may not fit with the colors you had in mind. But will look better then the the nylon looking one you got now.  Looks less like a flight suit and more like a warm up track suit that a runner would have on prior to a race.   $30.00 shipped for the dickies coverall if you want them.

Yup Rob, I told him who's made 'em originally. You do good stuff, i'm just a oddly proportioned little hobbitses.. One day I get to your side of the state, may have to have you help me size some Fett plates to my frame. XD

Nico, LA Police Gear is also having a sale on their flightsuits/jumpsuits. Nate, a GR mando in progress, got on.. $129 suit for $29 or $30 bucks. Pretty much all sizes your could want, and in the black you mentioned. That way, in case you're just really against the dickie's, you're covered. I'm still keepin an ear to the ground for anything else for ya too!

I think for now im mainly focusing on the plates, the flight suit should be an easy problem to solve. I'm heading to a buddies house to work on the plates, helmet, and weapons all day on  saturday. I'll post pics of my progress on sunday.

One thing first, what would be the best way to put the neo-crusader logo on my armor? Would it be easiest to print the pic, cut out the black, and use it as a stencil?

Unless youre building a set of neo crusader armor, I would advise against using it. By the Modern Era it's a 4,00 year old, nearly forgotten, sigil of the past. Id stick with modern era logos... clan sigils, personal/family sigils, mythosaur or mercs skulls or/and Death Watch sigils.
