Had major problems with this myself, finally found a solution by using a jug of boiling hot water and dipping the part in for 3-4 minutes before prying it apart. It worked on the barrel cap, the stock cap pieces and the ends of the scope.
Jark'osa Hauza:
My wife is 5'0" and the blaster size is proportionate to her size. I'm 6'0" and it looks small on me. Fortunately it's for her, not me.
Like others said, the grip and stock size are the main things. I have small hands for a man, as they're about the size of a woman's larger hands. My pinky almost hangs off without gloves. My wife has slightly smaller hands than me, and her hand fits on the grip with half a centimeter or so left on it. Honestly it looks like the right size for her, considering the blaster was proportionately small on Boba still. His fingers appear to barely be on the grip, or possibly slightly overhang on the grip.
Anyhow, hope this helps someone.

Disassembled my boba blaster today, and I have to say this is not exactly the best of advice. This toy is made of thermoplastic; 3-4 minutes at this temperature can cause the toy itself to distort in shape.
I'd say, in hindsight, dip the parts in for about 30 seconds, and pull for a few seconds. If it won't budge, give it another 30 seconds in the boiling water, and so on. It's the glue you want to break down, and it does't really need the long submersion.

My EE-3 mod.
Replaced the grip, removed the trigger guard, threw on a light and a bayonet. She's my favorite of my Frankenweapons that I've made so far.
Kiriath:
Nice weapon vod. I'm curious do you have a holster for it? If so what does it look like?
