And if people are that shallow to judge all women based off one pin up kit.. They ain't worth the salt in your spit. Because they'll judge anything of that gender less for any reason, real or imagined. And besides, playing devils advocate, you're showing shades of the same judgmental tendencies when you label or dislike her because of that, that the 'people with the wrong ideas' do.

I know you are, but we actually had a few girls come up to the table wanting to make armor like that, and being upset and walking off when told that pinup style armor is not in compliance with our CRL's.

I still don't see the grumps. If they got upset over that armor not being allowed (and common sense should show you it's not) the likelyhood of them completing a kit is enough even I wouldn't take the odds or bet!

It's probably because she spent about an hour at a time hanging out about ten feet in front of our table, and she did it several times. So it looked like she was associated with our group.

What about when fans in crappy home made duct tape armor stand around the table, would you want them to leave? I'm sure to the average person it would look like they were a part of the group too. I see nothing wrong with her costume. If there is a figure of it it should be canon in some since yes?

Not hardly.  A figure does not make something canon, it's an artistic expression if anything.  I have less problems anymore with the Booba Fett costumes than I used to, because they are always going to be out there. 

Glad you guys had a great time at SDCC.  Sorry I couldn't make it this year, but you guys did great!

I see her point, I have a friend that I go to conventions with and every time I've heard her talk about making a costume she puts the word "sexy" in front of it, and as a costumer that bugs me because not every costume needs high heels , fishnets and skin showing to make it cool. But Novall has a point , those costumes are always going to be there and that's why I see it as a challenge and hopefully explain to women costumers that not every Star Wars costume , while funny. doesn't have to look like Troopers Gone Wild to be cool.
