Very cool kit, but any plans to change the boots? No offense they just scream "I'm about to go knee deep in a swamp" at me.

But ignoring that everything looks great!

Thanks to everyone for your comments.

add back pic (no cape)?

Of course, there is a backplate  ;) - Here it is (a picture, taken at one of our last year#s events):

Love the light grey jumpsuit, would love to know where you got it? :)
You can get this at most online army stores. Its quite in-expensive but you have to do some modifications to make it look better.

Thank you,Manji. Uhm, no - i had no plans to change my boots. I like the look and how they fit to the costume's overall look.

But to be honest, they made a really loud and horrible noise while trooping ( just ask my Clan mates :-\ ) , so i had to replace them. I do now have a pair of shorter boots (Jodphur riding boots, boots used by Stormtroopers) and added a pair of leather ankle spats to keep the look of higher boots.
Here is a picture of me wearing the new boost (picture taken about 2 weeks ago):

I even think, they look better than the higher boots.  ;)

Yeah, those boots actually look better on your costume.
But tell me, did you remove that cardboard insole (Papp-einlegesohlen)?
Mine squeaked horribly until I did that. Now it's just softly creaking leather.

Hm...
Hey, what size are those boots? I could always use a backup pair. :D

I had a fantastic outdoor photo shooting yesterday and here are a few pictures:

Even though i consider my Rego Kezz costume to be "finished", some minor changes and additions have been made:

- new "Jaing" eyes on the helmet
- golden studs on the neck plate
- new knee armor (made by Tomoe)
- black leather riding chaps
- a "Boba-style" side pouch

I have uploaded more pictures of yesterday's photo session on my Rego Kezz Fanpage on facebook:

Now it looks finished.

But when did you pick up that EE-3? And where?

Great location! Is it open on a regular basis for photoshoots?

Love the jaing eyes, especially because you somehow managed to put them under the handprint.

In between the tan and greys and green, the new black chaps stick out a bit... but probably not anymore since you climbed up that slope again ;) You could put plates on them or just paint the grey stripe on the side of your pants down to the ankle.

For the knee-plate strap: there is a resource for elastic ribbon in all colors in our material list, including grey. It's extremly strong and lined with a soft surface that won't pinch your skin.

There's no need to worry about the knee armor straps. They are well hidden inside the suit, usually  ;)
