Well the yellow parts like the codpiece, gaunts etc. could be considered newer.
I think that would fit my character.

And after all it's not that easy to get oil and carbon dust out of fabric as it's more easy to get dirt of beskar.

well, again to me... it's all about telling a story with your armor. The less you would presumably have to explain something on your armor on the forums or at an event (appearance wise or why it's there) the more successful it is.

Just to play devil's advocate, I would think a Mando that "took care of their kit" (which BTW I would like to think just the Mando way of life would mean that everyone's character does, it's just a matter of how you prefer to show the kit in public... fresh and minty or straight from the field) if they took the time to wipe down their plates they would take the time to use a stain releaser on their flightsuit as well.

I'd like to say yes and no to that.
Telling a story with the armour, definitly.  ;D

But having to explain things gets you into contact with the visitors at an event. Not sure how the guidlines are on that, but to me that is a good thing.  :D

Hm, I think the green splotches are too bright.
A bit black/brown on them would probably be good.

On the gaunts and codpiece?
Yeah that was my own mistake since i am green-brown colorblind. I actually wanted to use brown.  :-X

Ah gotcha. I wondered about that unusual pick. It also explains the exceptional sense for composition and texture.

I saw  this complete costume when we trooped together at SpaceRitter and it looks great. All i would suggest is to add some weathering, brown stains would be perfect, i think. And my concerns about the spacing of the plates and the size of your vest were negated.
All you need now, is weathering your kit and add a backplate or a cape. I remember you talking about a double cape...
Keep going, Klyn! You're on the way.  ;)

Thanks vod, second cape is already done and just needs to be attached.
Same pattern as the green cape just more broad and black.

Might start with weathering tomorrow already. I just need some REAL brown this time.  ;D

Brown should be good on the yellow, not as hard as black (black is good on the green plates) In my impression, you have plenty of weathering, so maybe you can ask a family member to lent an eye and wait for the new layer to set on the first piece. Sometimes, the paint becomes darker when drying. It's the change from shiny wet to dry-matte.

I think it would look best if the brown took just the shine of the green but didn't darken enough to form a blotch... Basically the same care you used on the black.

Fett but not Fett.
You make them take a second look, and during that second, Nagra's close enough to hold the donation can under their noses.
