Just sent my app in today......I trooped in it Saturday at a baseball game holding Star Wars Night. Here I am in the hallway of the stadium.

Just some ideas:

1. Sleeves or some type of arm wrap to cover the skin some or bigger arms ( :) Scott)
2. Top half looks like a t-shirt more than a vest/flight suit, maybe something w/a different color to break it up.
3. The white/green top and bottom maybe some green striping on the plates?
4. Helmet and the gaunts look pretty cool along with the chest plates, maybe the ab plate under that we chatted about or a sash.
5. Utility belt ( I have one w/a built in ammo carrier on it and holster

Just some quick thoughts:) It's coming along.

Helmet and chest plates look pretty good!  You need some sort of girth belt/sash/something to cover up your belly.  Right now it's a big old Jedi target-- 'DISEMBOWEL ME PLEASE!'  The belt system can also be used to hold up your cod piece a bit-- it seems to be riding a bit low as it is.

I think you need to bring some of the green paint down onto the white legs-- or you need to bring some white up onto the green plates.  You're a bit visually jarring/confusing right now.

Looks like you're wearing a T-shirt under your vest.  In ANY context Tshirts off the rack are a no-go.  Maybe something more form fitting like an underarmor T might work, but as it is you certainly need some tweaks there.

You're definitely loff to a good start though!

For my cod, i think thats the highest it goes. I have a big gut, so its as high as it will go.

The vest is duck cloth sewn together. But the flight is a Dickies shirt.

I did have pouches on before that picture, but they were so heavy it made the belt sag.

That is the biggest templates that the Mercs have....so I dont know what i should do the "Jedi target".

I went with short sleeve like Montross which is okay, I believe.

On the sleeves, how about a button and button hole, so that you can fold the sleeve over and button it tight around your arm.  Use a black button/thread shouldn't be noticeable.

Girth belt or a sash can help cover up the stomach area.  Any kind of wide cloth belt.   I'm not saying you need armor plates there, but it does need to be covered.

If that's the highest you can mount your cod, you could trim it so it's not scraping your thigh plates.

And the armor templates can be made as large as you need them, technically... print them out then use a copier to enlarge them to whatever size you need.   :)

you don't have to have a template...
the template gives you an idea of what to make. if the templates don't fit, you adjust them accordingly

Just chatted with the man earlier today.  He should be getting back with us with an update.
By the way he talked, he's almost right on the money.  Waiting to see as well.

your plates are still small (that 2nd gutplate should not be necessary at all) and the flightsuit is still baggy around your legs. the leg armor shouldn't swing at all as you walk.

also, once again, sleeveless? i don't see any guns under those bracers, put some sleeves on ya arms  :P

is sleeveless alright? I'm modeling after Montross with the short sleeves. The pants look better if I adjust the pant leg after I put on the shins but I didnt.

I felt the second gut plate is necessary because there is a big space there and should be covered by armor...which I think is okay IMO. If I was a mandalorian, I would rather have all the gut plates i need in battle.

if your chestplates were sized properly you wouldn't need the extra plate
