Muver Esam

I am posting these pictures to get critqued. I accidently left my neck seal in the room at Adcon and have not purchased another yet. Other than my neck showing is there anything that can be done to improve my chances of being accepted.

Overall looks good, you're almost there!

There is one glaring CRL issue which is an immediate cause for on approval. And a couple more CRL issues that is an easy fix...
1. You have no gaunts. Gaunts or wrist wraps (which are allowed but not recommended) are required to pass.
2. It looks like either the vest is on cockeyed or the plates are misaligned. Starting at teh left shoulder and going across to teh right, there is a distinct and visible drop in the plates.
3. Your chin is visible. That could be because you need your neckseal or/adn because of too much padding inside the upper dome (if there is any you may need to remove it or thin it). If there's no padding on the interior dome, you'll likely need a balaclave in addition to or in place of the neckseal.

A couple other issues that aren't CRL driven but would greatly improve the look of the costume...
1. A girthbelt or sash is always a great way to tie the top and bottom halves of the costume together.
2. The kama could use a trim. It really comes to far around the front. Try cutting it off so it covers the rear of the costume and stops at or just in front of the sides of your hips. Also, it looks so bright and shiny compared to the rest of the kit A little weathering would make it fit better.
3. The color of the pack really clashes with the colors of the kit. While it works, a good black, grey, blue or maroon dye bath would help it out alot!

Overall the kit looks great. Great paint apps and the armored loicloth is cool. Just take care of those couple things and you're set!

upper plates and legs look great, it's the weird plated skirt loin and blue skirt thing that makes this kit look off

A'den - after looking at the pics my vest is slanted.. easy fix
Yes the neck seal will fix that along with a little trimming in the top.
As far a guants I think I mis read the CRL. I thought hand armor was the same as wraps. I have the guants base coated and.     should take less than a day to complete.
I have trim for the kama, just ran out of my iron on seam.

I will dye the pack, didn't think of that til you mentioned it. Give me a few days and I will post updated pics

The positive attitude rocks! Giev it the weekend and I bet you'll be ready!

As far as trimming the kama, I didn't mean add actual trimming to it. What I ment was cutting it so it doesnt wrap so far around your body. It should coer your rump and the sides of your legs, it shouldnt cover the front of the thighs. That takes away from the kama look and makes it look a bit like a skirt  :D

From the billow in one of the pics on the kama, I almost wanna sing 'Can't touch this!'

Good start, tweak the bits mentioned and I think you're good!

I can't trim around the waist, but I can cut some back to make mor of an angle from the waist to the thigh, the reason is my kama and loin cloth are one piece.
