NWC invades Buddy's Garage Sale!

Early on Saturday, April 24th, Rhiis "Eco" Mok'tau of the NorthWest Confederacy Clan single-handedly invaded Buddy's Garage Sale in Eugene, Oregon. After breaching perimeter security, Rhiis quickly staged a coup d'état using a militia formed from the shoppers and enthusiasts of the crowd. Once Event Security was out of the way, the local Imperial unit, Cloud City Garrison of the 501st was called in to establish martial law on the event. In just a few short hours in the morning, a pleasant garage sale was turned into a rather profitable charity event for Children's Miracle Network, and was a very successful joint-operation performed by the Mercs, the Rebel Legion and the 501st.

 Thanks to the efforts and presence of both groups posing for pictures and flagging down traffic, over $300 was raised in donations alone for Children's Miracle Network! A big thanks to Cloud City Garrison for the invite to the event.

The important thing is that money was raised for a charitable cause. We don't need to be ego driven for recognition. The good work we do is reward, enough!
