WIP plastic tote armor

i think the problem is that it doesn't look like it's scratched of but if it's spraypainted on, because of the foggy edges i would do the edges as clear as possbile and then take sandpaper or scissors or something to create the damaged look

What about outlining the skull with black and a fine tip brush to make it pop more then hit it with a very light sand paper?
