I don't think it'd pass without a LOT of modification, to the point of it being a lot cheaper and easier to just build one yourself.  Too many people from the Nintendo generation would recognize it for what it is.  That is, of course, assuming you have to buy one on ebay.  If you found an old one in a closet or one at a yard sale going for a couple bucks, it might be cool to use as a base.  Especially for a crushgaunt.

And from what I remember because I'm in the Nintendo Generation.  These came out after the movie "The Wizard"  They were not very big even for little kids. I could never get one on.

It's gonna need alot of modding and the guantlet part is actrually pretty short on the forearm. I purchased one back when I built my Jaing kit. I wanted the pad for my gaunts and scored it cheap on ebay. Plausible but probably alot of work and may not balance time, results and money spent.

if you have a power glove in mint condition... before you cut it up... sell it to me. Those things are worth a ton if they're in mint condition.

Worth about 60 bucks if they're used, open, but in good working condition.
