sorry Bev, i think someone posted that their 2pc warped from being in the trunk of a car in the hot sun,
i know some plastics will start to melt from bondo or fiber glass resin,dont know if the 2pc behaves like that, no problems with mine so far.
Demar, some people dont like the two peice, ilike it because it looks right, fits me without bobbleheadness like most of the others
and the "plow" face is not as wide as some or when a craft ring is installed,
craft ring supposed to add stiffness but it flares out the face increasing the plow effect and causes the front to back space to get narrow so when viewed from the side it looks squished(to me ,anyway
throw out the stupid litte pad that comes with it and put your own, plus darken the viser with some tint or replace it as it is too light when stock, then check the threads to mod the earpeices so they look better.

While the 2 piece (or any plastic helmet) has the potential to melt in a car, it was the one piece somebody talked about heavily warping (and finally having had a chance to look at one, albeit a seriously overpriced one, I can see why those things melt and warp). The craft ring is also usually recommended for the ONE piece, but I have seen some people put it into the 2 piece (I personally don't, I like the way the 2 piece looks).

The other benefit I found on the 2 piece is that it's just big enough to fit me, and JUST small enough combined with my heavy-looking build to make the rest of me look relatively bigger.  Like I'm a REALLY big guy wearing a 1:1 bucket.

Whereas in reality I'm 6'1", stand me next to my wife at 5'6" and she looks around 5'10" in armor, which makes me seem to be around 7' even.  The effect is exaggerated when we run across a Vader at a con, one who's not wearing platforms and isn't actually as tall as Dave Prowse.  On the other hand, at the last con we went to, there was a wookiee... who had stilts under the costume.  That made us all look tiny.

It's fun playing with scale and proportion and their effect on each other.  Imagine how big I'll look when we build my wife's proportionally correct Republic Commando armor...they have a fixed height and I'm gonna tower over an RC by about 7 inches.

One thing I've found after painting 6 Jango two piece buckets (Mine, my wife's and my four daughters), is that you need to lightly sand the whole helmet exterior. It helps paint adhere to your bucket and if you tape off any areas to have other colors it keeps it from peeling. Unless you want the blue from the Jango colors showing through when you "battle damage" your bucket, you lightly sand it off and use the silver as your"metal" base
