Kora Solusar (V1.2 finished!)/Tiika Ruslin

Because my threads were om nommed by the server change, I'm reposting them all as one thread instead of several, especially given the two other kits I've got sitting around waiting to start on once I finish upgrading Kora's V1 kit. (And they will be quite epic kits indeed. )

All of my kit's will be posted here on this page; I'll just edit it with more current pics or to add new costumes.

Kora's V1: Assassin (as of D*Con 09)

(Currently replacing helmet, gauntlets, knees, and chest plates. Kama has been switched to V2 kit's kama)

Kora's V2 kit: Industrial Enforcer (as of June 09)


(Currently have scheduled to fix knees, make thighs, replace shins)

Tiika Ruslin: Beast Master (as of October 09)


(This kit will have a Crusader era variant that I hope to begin sometime before the end of this year. lol For this modern variant, I'm replacing the chest plates with sintra instead of trash can and adding some bicep armor.)

Look for a spiffy winter variant of Kora's assassin armor and a whole new mando kit to be added to the list by the end of the year (I hope. . I know the winter one for sure since it's just waiting to be painted and mod the helmet).

You know it dawned on my today while I was talking with somebody about photoshop that I didn't include my favorite photo of Tiika. *headdesk* One of my best (and certainly my longest friend. . .we've known each other since 1st grade) really got into photography and decided to photoshop images for me as presents. *chuckle* She loves my costumes and has been pestering me for some more photos, but at the moment this one is all there is.

*chuckle* Slowly but surely the upgrades to Kora's V1 kit are getting there. I've pretty much decided to retire the V2 kit, even though I only wore it once. I love it. . .but my winter kit is going to take it's place.

Thanks guys. As always, ever improving. Need to fix a new belt with something studier than that cotton webbing I got and badly want a new vest so the plates will sit right with less fidgeting.

Right now though, that kit is mostly being set aside for work while I focus on my steampunk/engineer kit and winter kit.
