Man, I was beginning to think this day would never come! I mean, it's only been what... nearly three years?! But they've been a good three years, I've learned a lot and I've met a bunch of good people... had it not been for them it would've easily been another three years before I reached this point.

I've gone through a couple of kits that I just could never get right, there was always something they were missing. But now, I am more than happy to finally unveil my armor, I give to you A'DENLA ATINIIR!













Now, I may be ready for membership but let me make it clear- this kit is far from finished! There are a lot of pieces that I gave up in order to get to this point, but I most certainly have not forgotten them. All I can say is, in the future, be watching this thread for updates.

I just want to once again thank Clan Murraan, without you guys I would've never reached this point!

The only thing you may get dinged on at the moment is the kneepads as they are still somewhat recognizable as carpenter knee pads.  Otherwise, it's good to finally see you with a completed kit!

Thank you, Tag! Yeah, those knees were my only worry too. Also, looks like I didn't zip my flightsuit all the way, there's a speck of my neck showing...

I'm going to either be working on those knees or making scratch ones at some point. All in all though, am I ready to send in my app?

All you have to do for the knees is put some sort of plate over them. Those look great for a base, all you have to do is wrap some sintra/plastic around them shaped like Mando knee pads

I would modify the knees before sending in an app.  It's up to you though.  It's most likely going to come back with the same suggestion.  Might just start seeing what you can do with them now.  See if you can do like Lucas suggested and cut out a wrap-around knee template from plastic and glue it to the front of those.

I don't yet have gaunts, those are one of the pieces I had to set aside so I'd be ready for ALL-CON in two weeks. Don't worry, I have a template and some greebles that are on the back burner- but for now I'm just doing wraps until I get some spare time to make real gaunts.

Yeah, fixing those knees won't be too hard, I've already got some quick ideas floating around my head. Unfortunately I don't see any time to do anything this week, but I should have pockets of time next week. I also want to do a gray wash before the con, as well, so that my leg armor doesn't look so bright and shiny compared to the rest of the kit.

Hey I feel ya there, gaunts were the last part for me and definitely the most difficult. At least you have a plan! Remember, it can take a few tries sometimes before you get a finished product you're happy with.

The only thing I would do besides modify the knees is weather it up. I know that's not for everyone, though. I really like your helmet's paint job!
