(I am personally organizing this event.  I would appreciate any assistance, but your support in attending and getting the word out is greatly appreciated.)

At the San Diego Geek Pride Festival you can dress up, have fun, enjoy geeky music, and be proud of the fact that you are a geek!

Geek Pride is open to Geeks of all sorts: Star Wars, Trekkers/Trekkies, Steampunks, RPG/LARP, Gamers, SCA/Renaiisance, Zombies, anything!

San Diego Geek Pride Festival is an all ages event, held at Queen Bee's Art and Cultural Center, on Thursday May 20, 6pm to Midnight. Children welcome. Costumes welcome!

We are planning to have live music and DJs. A portion of profits from the San Diego Geek Pride Festival will go toward a charity to help homeless teens. More info to come!

OMG That's awesome! We need our own Pride festival. LOL. I wish it were on the same side of the continent as me.  ;)
