In helmet infrared camera
Apollo Falco:
I saw commercials for this thing on TV and thought it would be perfect for a custom mando helmet. It's basically an RC car with a camera (regular and infrared) that transmits to an eyepiece so you can drive the little bugger around and "spy" on your family or whatever. Sounds like it would be pretty easy to cannabalize and possibly stick the cameras in the RF or key slots and have the eye piece in the cheek area so you can have some sort of night vision or 360 field of view. Too pricey for me atm, but I thought some of you might want to play around with it.

im not sure how that would work...but that is a VERY cheap lcd screen (the replacement eyepiece) and that would fit in a RF perfectly!!!...the cam may be usable...but it would need to be pretty much stripped to fit into anything really....unless you want some big cam sticking of the side of you buy'ce
Dax Odesev:
that would be killer, if it could fit in the RF and show something like Thermal or night vision then you wouldn't have to cram a screen into the helm

100 credits says Ruusaar will be very interested in this thread. He wants to put night vision in his RF. I have no idea how I'm going to do this for him...
Ruusaar Cin:
Shatir gets the 100 creds! ;) I plan to hopefully put a rear veiw camera and an RF camera into my bucket. I already have a color and night vision camera that is small enough to build into my RF. My two problems though, are adapting the cam to run on batteries and finding a screen that is small enough to helmet mount and is compatible with the cam...
