Late Crusader Armor Design & Build

Hondo Karr:
Looks great! Are you going to fiberglass the cardboard?

Definatly it's own custom flair but with a touch of Neo Crusader to it.

Arketh:
Yeah, I was trying to get a hint of Neo in there, but still have it more Crusader.

I'm actually planning of doing it in plastic, to make it slightly less angular in the folds. That, and fiberglassing's a right pain in the winter time. Plastics a little less fumey.

I've also tossed around the idea of seeing what I could do with the cardboard layred up, mod-podge and a layer of aluminum after, just to try it. Now that I've got the basic templates nailed down, I can play with this.

Thaxos:
It's looking great! Keep up the good work.

Arketh:
Just a little work on the basis for a left, launcher  gaunt.

As before, just templating things up at the moment.

I plan to do it in plastic, line it with some foam  strip to snug up the fit, and close it in at the bottom with a section of pipe. Inset controls, something missile like in the bay.

Still deciding what do to with the right gaunt, could just mirror the left, but I'll keep looking for ideas.

Jagen Ordo:
Wow. That's going to be a nice Crusader.
I also like the Neo-Crusader flare of the chest. Ties the eras a bit closer together.
