Hey Ladies... I need some Help... of an....Interesting Variety...

I am working on Making some Armor for my Girlfriend, JJ.  Shes become kind of the Den Mother for the Tx Mandos, but now she wants her own set of Armor....

This wouldnt be a problem usually, since i can usually hammer out anything the customer requests.  Her only real request was that when shes wearing it, the armor looks feminine and have flowing, organic lines.

Ok, Thats easy....

Now comes the hard Part....


H-Cups.

We have decided to try making a pattern for some plastic armor out of one of her old Bras, and glueing it together then using bondo... but she wants a natural boob look to her armor and im not sure if thats going to cut it.  I dont know if I even have the skill to dish something like that out of aluminum.. I could do it out of steel if i had heat and a proper work shop, but it wouldnt be very comfortable for her to wear all day.

I am just trying to brainstorm here and get some Ideas for other options to protect her massive mammaries... I have never been asked to make Armor for someone this busty before....

First step might be to try and make a duct tape dummy to work off of.  Google search "duct tape dummy" and make sure to find a female one because they have a certain technique for taping around the boobage.  That way you can possibly try heating some thin for sale sign plastic and getting the shape you need without...damaging...

To obtain that amount of curve, you may need to cut some darts in the plastic, as it's only going to form so far before it wants to fold or crease.

Another thing you can do with the duct tape dummy is, after it's made and cut off, draw the plates onto the dummy itself then cut out your "plates". Fiberglass those and you're good to go.

Well my wife had G cups and I built her chest plates from sintra using cuts in them.  take the large pattern and add an inch or two.  thats what Ver'ta Mdej did and we used her design.  I wish I had the link to her thread, but try to PM her.

I agree that doing a duct tape dummy is a good idea. It really makes a difference in getting a good fit.

If you do go with darts, it would probably work best if you used several darts on each plate; the more you cut the more organic looking the fit will be.

I have actually experimented some with cutting up a duct tape dummy to make plates and then fiberglassing them; they came out rounded and feminine looking, and fit very well.

this was my thought... but to makethe mold for the latex, i would gave to plaster her torso...and...um....she says no.

I'd say step up to the mando plate and do it anyways, regardless of the incoming pain.  isn't that what were supposed to be all about?

Oh right... Duct tape form.  Do it.  It works really well and she won't get frustrated by being called over every couple hours to see if it fits yet.

Haha Yeah A Duct-tape Dummy for a female form is the best way to go for chest pieces. It not only saves you from getting burned (if you're working with sintra) it also lets you work on thigns while she's not there and vise versa. I think either what Xyon or Aden said...maybe try darted sintra, and if that fails,  chop up the duct tape bodycast and glass it.

Wait a minute, scratch everything everyone said, the answer just hit me...instead of trying to mold sintra or metal to do what you want, could you pick up a couple of kiddie bike helemts and mod those?  like, one of those ones they make for 4-6 year olds?
