Ohayocon TEN Janurary 29-31 2010

Since there was a thread started for Sugoicon I figured I would start one for Ohayocon. I know some of the 501st guys show up ever year and have a panel, so I think there needs to be more Mando there.
Also we can use the thread for advanced planning and ideas.

The convention center is obviously attached to the Hyatt which always has special room rates for the con and there address is

The Hyatt Regency Columbus is the only official hotel for Ohayocon 2009.
Personally I like staying at the Drury Inn and Suites, its not as crowded and there are some places you can actually escape the craziness if you want. Not to mention free breakfast lol. Btw you can easily walk right from the Drury lobby to the convention center, plus there is also a bridge I think.

I dont know about you guys but this is probably my favorite convention I have been to and I would love to show with a few my new Mando buds.
We can probably even talk them into letting the Rancor Clan set up a table or something as well as receive group registration discounts for groups of 10 or more, also I know the guy running registration so that could be helpful.
I was wondering if you guys have any interest in attending and/or possibly splitting a room.

Unfortunately Ohayocon has never really been up my alley with it's main focus usually being on anime. I looked at cost for tickets last year and they didn't really seem worth it for me. I know we'll never get 10 of us there, so I wouldn't worry about group rates or a table.
I'm probably going to be out for this one unless I change my mind later.

Yea, we almost did this last year. We were planning on a parking lot dress and just pay the one day entry fee. It was so cold that weekend, we all whimped out. Like cold enough, plastics could just snap if bumped.
I'll keep a 50/50 yes-no-maybe for this.
